Wildfire Preparedness Presentation

Wildfire season is just around the corner. And while we often think of wildfire as a rural threat, many of our urban neighborhoods, especially those near parks, greenbelts and open spaces, can be at serious risk. Join the Bellevue Fire Department at one, or both, of our upcoming wildland preparedness presentations to learn how you can protect your home and neighborhood from urban wildfires. All ages are welcome. Free.

June 9 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Newport Way Library, 142520 SE Newport Way

June 21 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Lewis Creek Park, 5808 Lakemont Blvd SE

Join Us November 2

Join other Horizon Crest neighbors at the front entry island on Saturday, November 2nd between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. We will be planting colorful tulip bulbs that will bloom in the Spring and also doing some general cleanup. Best of all donuts and hot drinks will be available and you’ll get to know your neighbors better! If you are able, please bring a shovel and gloves.
