Reporting Issues to City of Bellevue

Several neighbors have raised concerns about a dead cottonwood tree located across from the entrance to SE 48th Drive, near the new water reservoir. Given its condition and proximity to nearby power lines, there is concern that the tree could fall, particularly during strong winds. The HCCA board has contacted the City of Bellevue regarding this issue. While the tree is located on city property, the city has declined to take action at this time. If you share these concerns, you are encouraged to submit a request through the MyBellevue App using the details below:

  • Category: Vegetation/Trees
  • Location: SE 48th Dr & 151st Avenue Southeast, Bellevue, WA
  • Description: There is a dead cottonwood tree that may fall onto nearby power lines. Please evaluate and consider removal.

Community feedback can make a difference, and increased reporting may help prompt further review by the city. As a reminder, the MyBellevue App can also be used to report a variety of other concerns, including residential parking, water leaks, and other issues.
