A reminder that landscape maintenance on the sidewalk in front of your home is your responsibility. Please help neighborhood walkers, garbage trucks and street sweepers by keeping vegetation trimmed one foot back and seven feet above.

Neighborhood Improvement Grants
The HCCA still has some funds to distribute matching monies for multi-family neighborhood improvement projects. Now might be a great time to do something like this! The matching funds have some requirements, and are first-come, first-served. The details are on this page.
Snow Street Parking
Snow accumulation is forecast Sunday evening throughout next week. An important lesson learned last February is that city snow plows will avoid plowing with cars parked on the street, ESPECIALLY on the hills. So PLEASE, park cars in your garage or driveway while the snow is falling. Since this email list only gets to about half the neighborhood residents, please feel free to share this information with your neighbors.
Storm Drains
In the recent It’s Your City newspaper, you might have seen the article about keeping storm drains clear. Keeping leaves and debris raked away from the grates helps prevent flooding in the neighborhood. All neighbors can help keep the drains clear, not just the residents immediately next to the drains. Thank You!!!
